Introduction

This article describes examples of customer segmentation by ECPower aimed at "further enhancing the engagement of repeat customers," along with ideas for marketing outreaches.

Repeat Customers Who Have Made a Purchase in the Last Week

These are customers who have made more than two purchases and whose last purchase was within the last seven days.

Example of Marketing Outreaches:

  • Consider sending a "Thank You" email or a follow-up email to express gratitude for repeat purchases and to check if there were any issues with the product.

Repeat Customers Who Purchased a Specific Product in Their Most Recent Purchase

Create segments of repeat customers based on their most recent purchases. Please set "Order frequency: Most recent purchase" in the detailed filter.

Example of Marketing Outreaches:

  • Deliver content that interests customers, such as how to use and enjoy the product, behind-the-scenes development stories, brand stories, etc. This can enhance customers' attachment and engagement with the brand.

Repeat Customers Who Have Never Purchased a Specific Product

These are repeat customers who have never purchased a specific product. For example, create a customer segment that consists of repeat customers who have not yet purchased a "best-selling product".

Example of Marketing Outreaches:

  • Consider sending a promotional email recommending products that are expected to encourage repeat purchases (such as products favored by loyal customers).

Customers Who Have Purchased a Specific Product Category More Than Twice

These are customers who have purchased a specific product category more than twice. They likely have a high need for that category.

Example of Marketing Outreaches:

  • As these customers are likely to already have a certain degree of interest in the product category, delivering content that interests them, such as how to use and enjoy the product, can further enhance their engagement.
  • Consider offering coupons according to the number of repeat purchases, or discounts on products that are often bought together.
