You can now create customer segments based on average repeat purchase days, customers who have placed orders above (or below) a certain amount, and customers based on the vendor of the products they purchased.
Average Purchase Interval Days
Customers with an average repeat purchase interval (days between purchases) between X and Y days.
- Detailed Filter: Selecting "Second Purchase" for Order Frequency allows the creation of segments based on the days between the first and second purchases.
- Detailed Filter: Selecting "Latest Purchase" for Order Frequency enables segment creation based on the days between the second-last and the latest purchase. This can be used, for example, to filter customers who recently returned from inactivity.
Note: Selecting "First Purchase" for Order Frequency cannot effectively filter data with this dimension. Please be aware of this.
[Customer Segment Examples]

Customers who have spent ranging between X and Y.

- Detailed Filter: You can set conditions based on whether the customer has made qualifying orders above or below a specified number. Example: Customers who have made three or more orders of over 30,000 USD.
Note: A similar dimension, "Customer Metric's Average Order Value (AOV)," is based on the average of the total purchase amount. The purchase amount dimension can be used to filter customers who have placed orders within the specified range even once.
Vendor
Customers who have placed orders for products provided by a specific vendor(s) or brand(s).
Vendor data is a field that merchants can specify in Shopify's product management. This is commonly used by select shops that carry other brands to save brand information from their suppliers.
We have also added the following variations to "Insights."

From the Product Team
We've received many requests regarding customer segmentation, and we are implementing them in order. For instance, we're planning to continue developing ways to create segments from various perspectives, including "Product Collection," "Coupon Type," "Email Subscription Status," and "Metafields" populated by third-party apps. We hope you'll be excited about these features!
